Last year the Gala was cancelled because of wet ground, this year the day was the sunniest and hottest of the year, blistering.
The usual helpers were there, Peter, Vic, Lesley and Dave, though they had to leave early for another appointment in Nottingham, Elaine and Paul, Sandra and Rhys.
A hot day indeed but everything went well, both solar telescopes were kept busy all afternoon.
